Yesterday Gina and I rode the subway for far too long, but she bought herself a brand new camera and an iPod, which she's stoked about. On the way from the electronics market to central Seoul, this crazy chick on the subway sitting about a foot away from where we were standing was taking our photo in the most nonchalant fashion. She'd pull the camera from her bag, snap, put it back. Pull, snap, back. Pull, snap, back. She wasn't even looking at us, but pretending as though we couldn't see her... wtf? So Gina leaned in, made a peace sign and said "Cheese!!!", but she STILL PRETENDED NOT TO SEE US! It was really bizarre.
So in the spirit of crazy subway people:

And now for Sunday's events:
Gina, Angie, Jen, Matt, and I all went back to Yeoido to see some cherry blossoms! It was awesome!
We all had lunch together at the 63 building (I had something called a "yogurt salad" which had lettuce, olives, red pepper, and corn). Then Gina and I went looking for some cherry blossoms while the rest went to the top of the building. We had a great time! We saw some basketball players, took lots of pictures of white and pink cherry blossoms (or plum blossoms???), and wandered around. We saw this Catholic candle thing (sorry for the vagueness), and made friends with a little boy. While we were taking pictuers of a giant tree in bloom, a girl started yelling out of her window "WAEGOOKIN IMNIDA!!!!! WAEGOOKIN IMNIDA!!!!!" (Foreigners! Foreigners!). Her 2 friends (sisters?) came to the window, grinned, and yelled "Waegookin!!!!" at us some more while waving REALLY HARD.
Then Gina and I saw the greatest pigeons... one was really fat and had a crooked leg, another was beautiful and white, and another was so sleek and shiny. We ALSO saw three really fat sparrows in a puddle. The birds totally made my day.
AND THEN we went walking around, toured through a rapist tunnel, had some ice cream, and made our way back for (drumroll please...) THE IMAX! Woo! I would recommend seeing "Great North" to anyone. Very neat, and you get to see a caribou being born and getting licked into fuzziness.
Ah, and then we rode the bus home as Cher and Cyndi Lauper (sp?) played over the loudspeakers.
