There's No Place Like Home

Unless you're a Sagittarius, then EVERYWHERE is like home!

After meeting a friend in Pagoda Park, I decided to do some shopping in Itaewon (the Foreigner District of Seoul) all alone. I wandered around for about an hour or so, tried to buy some wicked earrings (needed a second opinion though!!! WHERE ARE YOU KATIE AND GABBY???), THEN:

some kids from a Seoul English school stopped me and were taking a survey on the street. THEIR TEACHER, a Korean WOMAN looked at me and said:
"Ooooooh, so tall... like a Barbie Doll... real? "
And I of course said "Oh yes".
Korean Teacher: "Nice boobs too! Real too?"
Kathryn: "Uh, yes"
Korean Teacher: "Ooooh. Pamela Anderson!"
Kathryn: "No, hers are fake." Then I wandered off.

I wandered down a back street

And another back street

One more

And this African guy that I saw outside of the "Africa Shop" on the main street started yeling "Stop, wait!". Of course, I stopped and waited for him to catch up.

African Man: (after small talk: name/where are you from/etc) "I have a shop down this alley"

(SIDEBAR: it was a sunny day, but this ONE SOLITARY ALLEY was dark)

Kathryn: "Down that alley?"
AM: "Yeah yeah, my shop is down there!"
K: "Maybe some other time. I'm meeting a friend" (I Lied!!!!! Woo for me!!!) I started walking away...
AM: "Don't worry, we can get there from here too. Beautiful clothes for a beautiful girl" (points up some narrow narrow concrete stairs that wrap around a corner)
K: "Sorry man, I'm not interested"
AM: "Come on!"
K: "What, you've got some puppies up there for me to play with??? Candy??? Should't we be heading to your cube van???"
AM: "Okay, well maybe I'll give you my number and you can call me when you have time"
K: "okay"
